'There is no home'
That is what I think about this movie.
Sometime I wonder why I have to watch all this movie with a cruel war.
But I have realized that I have to accept all of this, I have to know what is happened in the past.
To accept that all human have their own duty, and we all have to choose between duty and life.

The movie is about six men lost in the wicked, by confusing war. One group has John, Augustus, and Pete. Another group has Harrison, Bolding, and Hogg. They don't know that each other are enemies because the dark of evening and both of them need help from friends. They trade what they needs to each other, they help each other. But when the sun had rise, they notice that they are enemies of each other. The situation was changed, they became untrust and act as the soldier as they should be. They fight with each other and finally they caugth between two army, and died by those gun.

I like this movie and the way they tell us a story, I can feel with every moment with them mostly with Harrison. He and his lover is a sad love story. Woman never know that he can't read, and he never let her know that he still alive and miss her every minute of his life. He kept her letters along with him safely but never open it until John offer to read for him. Day by day, night by night I can feel how far away of the distance and how close of their heart. But it is the war, the word duty that all men have to responsible for it. That why I said there is no home. They fight for land and but they lost their home. So sad that they fight for home for their lover and family. During the war as long as those soldiers fight in the field as much as they pain because of missed their home.

But I appriciate their brave, because when the time have come all men must do what they should do. That is for glory and freedom at last.

The Alamo

Hello everybody,

From the Alamo, I had read the summary and characteristics of those actors from Ms. Tori's blog. I think it is appropriate and easy to understand already.

So, I would like to keep it more short in my blog and tell you guys what is my opinion of this movie.

For the main charactors; Sam Houston, Davy Crockett, Jame Bowie, William Travis. In my opinion, I think all of them can divided as a level of history. What do I mean by this? I mean from their characteristic, Sam is a leader who has an authority to command people. He is necessary but not needed everytime. He like a past tense who had succeed then become a high position person.
Davy Crockett is same as Sam, he's been success before and not to dare with anything that make he lost all great honor that he's been before.
The interesting to compare is Jame Bowie and William Travis. Both of them totally different character but almost the same in their duty. Jame is always drunk but he live his life with duty and his tragic past, anyway he being proud from his men and followers as a great man. William is more interesting, he has less experience than Jame and not many people respect him but he has prove himself and became the good leader as Jame used to be.

The movie is invent a symbol to make more understanding too. I don't know it is right or not, or it just my idea. I think the unfinish church is a symbol of unfinish war. To show that the war never end, peace is not easy to create but still need to fight for it. Another symbol is musical, this movie use music to make an audiences feel and more touching with the movie.
