Part XI: WE STAND ALONE TOGETHER
We Stand Alone Together tell the remarkable story of the men of Easy Company in their own words. Featuring recent interviews with the real-life company members whose deeds are dramatized in the miniseries, combined with rare and archival photographs and film footage.
I don’t know what to say about this movie. It’s more than what I imagine before I watched it Ajarn. Honestly, first time I think it really boring. I can’t catch up anything and I took long time to get through it. But when I start getting myself more relax with it, I found that is much better. I can feel it, this movie effect me a lot during watching it. I scream, I cry, my mouth was open many time and I didn’t know it. It’s so real, it like I walk with them along their journey (except me still alive). It’s really good one in production because it can make us know about a cruel war in details.
I appreciated all of them in both who survived until now and who die during the war time. They had they glory now, and I think it will be with them forever. For German army I am appreciated them too. Actually, I think they must do what they must have to do. You know what I never like soldiers and I don’t know why. May be it just the way they look at other, with brighten eyes and think they are number one of everything. For now I understand because they have total right to feel that, to act like that, to proud themselves. Because of it’s not easy, not at all. Along the way they had to pass it fully with blood. They never know that which shot waiting for them. The death is just right there waiting for anyone who dare.
I hope there will be no more war in this world.
But I know I expected too much, didn’t I.

Part IX: Why We Fight
Summary
Easy Company finally enters Germany, to surprisingly little resistance, and has a chance to relax for the first time in a long time. A patrol in a nearby forest discovers an abandoned Nazi concentration camp, still filled with emaciated prisoners. The local citizenry, unbelievably disavowing knowledge of its existence, is made to clean it up, as the news arrives that Hitler is dead.
“What the … are we doing?” This quote comes from one of solider.
If I have a chance to reply him back I would say “I don’t know either”
Hmm well it seems that everyone has time for relax but it time that I see their stress also. Every thing in their mind is like a volcano, and ready to outburst. They had different way to let it out. Some get drunk, some smoke more than they used to.
When they found an abandoned Nazi concentration camp, I got shocked Ajarn. Really, it’s like ‘Oh my God!’ It’s really bad, those prisoners look like a zombies that I ever seen in the movie. They hunger and they can’t help themselves to live normally. It’s just worse than I saw soldier’s death on the field. I can’t believe this!

Band of Brothers (Part VIII)
Part VIII: THE PATROL
Summary
Easy Company arrives in the Alsacian town of Haguenau near the German border, and is ordered to send a patrol across the river to take enemy prisoners. Lt. Jones, fresh from West Point and eager for combat experience, volunteers to lead. While successful, the mission costs another paratrooper's life, prompting Winters to ignore the order to send a second patrol the next night.
There is nothing change much in this part except the different between experiences and inexperience of soldiers. And also the teamwork, it seem that the soldiers who had more experiences look more casual and they can laugh together even they hiding from the bomb in the hole. But for newer or inexperience they shaking little bit.
The replacements had to catch up on with experiences soldiers because they face less combat and make more confident to fight too.

Part VII: THE BREAKING POINT
Summary
Having thwarted the Germans at Bastogne, the exhausted Easy Company must now take the nearby town of Foy from the enemy. Several are killed and wounded in fierce shelling, compounded by the incompetence of their commander, Lt. Dike, about whom Winters can do nothing. Easy takes Foy, but at an enormous cost.
It’s still in winter and things getting worse. Easy Company lost more and more privates. Of course they feel so suffered from this. They lost focus because of long combat on the field. When their best friend die one by one in everyday and every combat private die or hurt the one who live is live in pain.
Leader is so important because of the fellow will follow them. If lead to the right way then combat will be successful but if not it mean death.

Band of Brothers (Part VI)
Part VI: BASTOGNE
Summary
In the dead of winter, in the forest outside of Bastogne, Belgium, the men of Easy Company struggle to hold the line alone while fending off frostbite and hunger, having arrived with no winter clothes and little supplies and ammunition. Medic Eugene Roe (Shane Taylor) is overwhelmed, on edge and close to combat exhaustion when he finds friendship with a Belgian nurse. Easy Company spends a miserable Christmas in the trenches, and receives the news that the German army's demand for surrender was met with Gen. McAuliffe's defiant answer: "Nuts!"
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
I wonder what kind of Christmas fully with blood. But yes may be Christmas in 1944. Its winter time and they stuck with those snows. They lack of food, lack of medicine especially morphine, lack of cloths, lack of weapon also. They need those more to supply the company but can’t get it. So they had to save everything which they can save even a shot to fire.
This time is tough for all company because not only enemies they have to be aware with but they live harder because of lacking things. They have to save morphine so some soldiers did not hurt much they have to save for soldiers that really need to use it. And some soldiers get sick from cold weather also.
I’m quite surprise that this part had nurse, because what I have seen they had only soldiers take care of this duty. I appreciated all nurse because it very tough and can make them crazy too. They do good thing, they help soldiers, try to save their live. But many time those soldiers could not survived. They get upset and sad but it duty that they choose to do from their heart.
For Chocolate! It’s cute, even it war time. I think everyone needs this, anything that can show how much you care and it can cheer up too.

Band of Brothers (Part V)
Part V: CROSSROADS
Summary
Winters (Damian Lewis) lead a risky mission on a Dutch dike, resulting in a resounding victory, for which he is promoted to Battalion Executive Officer. Dissatisfied with his new, largely administrative job, Winters is concerned about the leadership of the three companies he now commands. After a weekend pass to Paris, news arrives of a massive Axis effort in the Ardennes Forest, threatening to break the Allied lines. Easy Company races in to hold the line, ill-equipped for the bitterly cold weather and the entrenched battle ahead.
To Easy Company Victory & Curahee!!
They are still in Holland, and Captain Winter had to responsible more things.
In this soldier’s way, they do not just fight on the field but they had to do the paper. To report everything that had happen to the field to the upper rank of commander. It’s include how they explore the field, how they move, how they done the operation, how many privates had lost and everything that happened in details.
In my opinion, to make this kind of paper it effect on advantage and disadvantage. It’s good to collect all information and report it because they will know about what going on, what mistake they have done, how many private left, and etc. So, they will set up a better plan for next time. But the disadvantage is the paper can remind everything to the writer. He had to thinking of what he had faced, and I think it might be hurt his feeling. Once he faced those terrible fight is bad enough but if he had to keep reminding those thing all the time it can he feel worse.

Band of Brothers (Part IV)
Part IV: REPLACEMENTS
Summary
Due to heavy casualties, a group of fresh paratrooper replacements joins Easy Company in time for a massive drop into German-occupied Holland for Operation Market-Garden. While met with no resistance in Eindhoven, Easy and a cluster of British tanks are repelled from a nearby town by a superior German force, sustaining many casualties as they retreat. The Allied plan to enter Germany through Holland and end the war before Christmas fails.
It’s time to get promoted, I saw everyone were get promoted and hang around in the common room for relaxing. This part show that pin, a mark, a seal or any sign which show that you are brave or good soldier is very important. And everyone proud of it, and I think it good to proud because it not easy to earn. Also they earn by hard fight and sacrifice for the war and their company.
Because the company had more privates join the company. Those sergeants had to help the new privates. I think they didn’t do by duty only but when they look at the privates it can remind them that they were like them before. Experiences of real field by sergeants teach those privates well.
When the company reaches to Holland, people welcome them all. What I don’t understand is why people quite cruel. They make women who slept with German (correct me if I’m wrong) humiliate publicly by shave their hair off.
The company had to join with other army (French army) and it makes a lot of problem. Because of different country, different language, and different culture can make conflict. It’s not easy to communicating and trusting in other nation. One scene I think that if they trust easy company the tank will not be destroyed and the mission will not fail. They lost many soldiers in this field, they trap and had fewer soldiers to fight then they had to step back to the camp.

Band of Brothers (Part III)
Part III: CARENTAN
Summary
Debut date: SUNDAY, SEPT. 16, 9pm/8c. Two days after D-Day, Easy Company is sent to take the town of Carentan, engaging in a successful battle that results in several casualties. Some soldiers, including Pvt. Blithe, have a difficult time adjusting to combat. After 36 days in Normandy and several fierce battles, Easy returns to England, but their celebrations are short-lived, as news comes that they're moving out again.
They collected property or belonging of the enemies. It’s like a pride I think, and it can be souvenirs of war also. Other thing is almost the same that I have seen from both two parts before. They do they company duty, keep walking and explore the field.
The town was empty and changed to be the field. It’s like no place for living in freely or peace. People had run out and their house became a fighting field.
Some soldiers had bad feeling inside. They trained for kill the enemies but the thing is the enemies were including the innocent people too. The company had to kill those people also. Is that a duty to killing the innocent people? I think it bad but if the companies not shoot them the company may get killed. Who know?
At the beginning, they volunteer to fight but when the time pass by some of them get freak out. They see their friends get hurt and die all the time. They have to be strong but it not easy. Thing getting worse when they see their friend lose and start thinking about what the time of themselves will come. They have to help each other, not only fight but caring of other health and feeling too. It had been creating teamwork and friendship also.
One question Ajarn. Why some soldier put a little white flower in their pocket?

Band of Brothers (Part II)
Part II: Day of Days
Summary
On June 6, 1944, D-Day, planes carrying thousands of paratroopers cross the English Channel to France, where they come under heavy fire. None of the men land where they expected to, and many lose their weapons and supplies in the drop. Winters links up with solitary soldiers, and they set off to find their units. Winter is later chosen to lead an attack on a fortified German artillery position; the mission is successful, but Winter, now acting company commander, loses his first man.
I just notice the word tear come from. It’s come from unwanted memory that we can’t forget as much as we want to tear that off. It will be more pain and then the little drop from an eyes we called ‘tear’.
Because of the aircraft were attack, the Easy Company had to jump out before the expected point. So, they were separate and get lost on the field. They have to find their friends and beware of the enemies at the same time. They had to listen to the commander if not it will be create a lot of problem and no unity exist. Because of the Easy Company dropped away from the point so they have to take a walk. Along the way they face with both enemy and their friends who death, they upset but can’t show out cause they are soldier. And they have to collect weapons and other supplies from death men also.
One scene that I saw, the soldiers killed the enemy when they have no weapons. It’s so cruel; I question myself that is duty or just madness of devil inside. What I have seen is all soldiers had skillful in military but their ethical, mind, and character were different. It does can tell from the decision that they have made. And wrong decision in the field mean death. The point is if not the enemies it means us to be in the tomb.
It’s seemed that no one can fight alone; they fight in system and stay in order because the bullets come as a rain they have to watch out as teamwork.

Band of Brothers (Part I)
Part I: CURRAHEE
Summary
In Toccoa, Georgia, 1942, a disparate group of young men begins voluntary training to become members of one of America’s newest military regiments the paratroopers. Under the harsh leadership of Lt. Sobel, members of the newly formed Easy Company go from being green civilians to becoming some of the Army’s host elite soldiers. As training progresses, a rivalry flares between Sobel, whom the men despise, and Lt. Winters, a junior officer who’s earned the respect and admiration of the company.
From what I have seen in the movie
Before they get in to the war they must be prepared, they not just gain people to be a soldiers right a way. Every soldier had to be well trained and the training for them is very tough. The rules of the army very strict and everyone have to get along with it.
They stay in the camp altogether and every field in the camp had set up for military training as same as the real fighting field that all soldiers had to face with. There is nothing in private, and if anyone did anything wrong it always responsible together. Because of once they volunteer to the camp other soldiers become new family members.
I appreciated on the army, they train so hard and seriously because it not just a game. They’d jump up from the aircraft during the training. They not just leaned on the field but in theory also and it like they study in the classroom but they learned how to kill and how to keep their own life safe. Moreover, they have to learn how to hide from the enemy, body language or how to use hand code to command or communicated.
They didn’t have only tough time but they have party time also, its beer time, friendship between different companies but of course in the army rule.
Even the came here as a volunteer, and had same mission to fight in the war. But living together created problem too. They come from different places, different family, and different religion, which those reasons can created a lot of misunderstood. Everyone had their own faith, their own belief and some might die for it too. The thing is everyone should try to compromise and make it unity as much as they could because in the field they all need help. No one can fight alone.
I think to be unity is the most important thing. Because no one can stand alone even they are the best trained such Sobel, he was resign from easy company because of soldiers can not accepted his way. And I think good leader doesn’t mean that he is everything on best but he had to make a right decision at the right time.

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
“IN THIS TEMPLE AS IN THE HEARTS OF THE PEOPLE
FOR WHOME HE SAVED THE UNION
THE MEMORY OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN
IS ENSHRINED FOREVER”
It’s about one man name Jeff Smith had to go to Washington as a young senator. Smith was popular for children because he is a leader of the Boy Rangers before. Smith had to fight with other senators and his hero Paine too. Anyway he won because of his goodness, the truth, and his sincerity in everything he do.
I like the scene that he went to the white house and looking at Abraham Lincoln and it seem Lincoln looking at him also. It’s seemed that this time there are a lot of memorial things, monument and building which refer to freedom such as Capitol Dome.
This time people can communicate easier by phone which they can use it from home and in public also. People are more interested in political included children. Everyone have their right to speak and give ideas even kids. They have newspaper to inform the news and to show ideas and opinion also. Colored people work as bell boy who carried baggage in the hotel, I think they get paid and not a slave anymore. There are museum which show a memorial of great people and liberty of USA. The architecture at this time like a sign of USA is the democracy and freedom country.
The corruption not much like roaring twenties or may be I should say it not that openly. I see the art of bluffing in the politic and it classy, money is not the point. The point is power and creditability.
In my opinion, when I see the movie I thinking of the politics now a day. I think it same, it is what it was. We make a decision by voting even we all know that it not always the right way. It can be corrupt; it can be lobbying the voters also.

In my opinion, when I see the movie I thinking of the politics now a day. I think it same, it is what it was. We make a decision by voting even we all know that it not always the right way. It can be corrupt; it can be lobbying the voters also.

Roaring Twenties
Roaring Twenties
The movie talks about many things after WWI. The movie tells a lot of thing that people do during that time. Eddie came back from the war he fights for democracy, after war he was survived but no place for him. Everything was changed. Businesses are costly, price of everything higher and taxes increased too. Eddie had to work as a taxi driver instead of work at same garage. Anyway he doing alright with his cab but he was in jail because illegal liquor that he carried by innocent.
After that he became a big business man in illegal liquor business. He ships his liquor to those speakeasies and gains a lot of money by that. The speakeasies were very popular. Because of that it created corruption and many illegal things also. It seems everyone don’t care, even the police money is touching than law. The speakeasies and entertainment were profitable and most people live by those businesses because of its gains a lot of profit and most of people want to be relaxed. It like after war everything renovated every thing gets start again. I think people at that time don’t care much about right or wrong, if money comes there is no right or wrong.
Not only corruption problem but there were violence and murder in this period also. Women smoking or drinking were normal as men did. Everyone can do what they want to do but if you have money people will respect you.
I think speakeasies, illegal liquor and other businesses at that time are like illegal software. Everyone knows about it and most of people use it in daily life, even it illegal but who cares. I think world changing all the time, just what people are up to.
